When will my order ship?
In-stock items ship within 1–2 business days. Made-to-order items typically ship in 7–14 days (1–2 weeks). You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your label is created.
How much does shipping cost?
Rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and the items in your cart. Our bulk packs, such as the Packout 10-pack, ship free to the lower 48 states.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship physical orders to the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland and select European Union countries. Available destinations and rates are shown at checkout. Import duties and taxes may apply and, where they are not collected at checkout, are the recipient's responsibility. DXF downloads are delivered by email.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes! If you are in the Apple Valley, CA area, select “Local Pickup” at checkout. We will notify you via email when your order is ready for collection.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Because we prioritize fast shipping, orders enter processing quickly. If you made a mistake, it's important to contact us immediately. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled or modified. You will need to initiate a return.
PRODUCT SPECS & COMPATIBILITY
What materials do your products use?
We use a variety of materials depending on the product, including mild steel in several gauges, aluminum, and stainless steel on select items. Each product page lists the exact material and thickness.
Why is 10-gauge steel superior to plastic or 14-gauge Packout mounts?
10-gauge steel is about 0.135 inch thick, which is significantly more durable than plastic and supports about twice the rated load of our 14-gauge plates of the same design. This thickness eliminates “flex” under heavy tool loads and prevents cracking caused by vehicle vibrations, for dependable long-term storage.
Are your products compatible with my tool system?
Yes. We engineer specific solutions for Milwaukee Packout, DEWALT ToughSystem, Klein MODbox, Husky Build-Out and Bauer, plus custom shop builds. Refer to each product page for detailed fitment specifications.
Can I mount your plates on a TMAT system?
Yes. Our mounts can be installed onto TMAT systems using TMAT anchors, and we have customers who do exactly that. Anchors and other mounting hardware are not included. TMAT is a trademark of its owner, and BOCO Custom LLC is not affiliated with or endorsed by TMAT.
How do I install BOCO Custom metal mounting plates in a work van? Or other surface?
We recommend using appropriate fasteners for your surface: lag screws for wood studs, heavy-duty anchors for drywall, or self-tapping screws for metal van walls. Specific installation notes are available on each product page.
Is mounting hardware included?
No. Mounting surfaces vary, so choosing the correct hardware for the installation is up to the end user or installer.
Do you offer mounting plates for tool systems other than Milwaukee Packout?
Yes. We manufacture heavy-duty, laser-cut mounting plates for major tool systems—including DEWALT ToughSystem 2.0, Klein MODbox, Husky Build-Out, Bauer, and more—allowing you to mix and match different brands seamlessly in one setup.

How do I get my DXF files?
Files are delivered instantly by email with a download link after purchase.
Can I get a refund on a DXF file?
Because DXF files are instant digital assets, they are non-refundable. Please ensure your software is compatible with DXF formats before purchasing.
Can I sell products made from your DXF files?
Yes! Commercial use is approved for the physical items you fabricate using our files. However, the resale or redistribution of the digital files themselves is strictly prohibited.
Can I buy the DXF files to cut my own mounting plates?
Yes, we offer DXF Digital Downloads for DIYers and professional shops who want to integrate our proven geometry into their own custom builds.
CUSTOM WORK, RETURNS & WARRANTY
Can I request a custom design or bulk order?
Absolutely. We offer custom graphics, sizes, and finishes. Message us for a quote on custom metalwork or volume discounts for your fleet or shop.
What is your return policy?
Physical items can be returned within 60 days of delivery if they are unused and uninstalled. Exchanges are available within the same 60 days. The customer pays return shipping, either by shipping the item back or by having us send a return label and deducting its cost from the refund. There are no restocking fees, and approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 days of receiving your item. We cover return shipping for warranty and defect claims. Is there a warranty?
Yes. All physical products carry a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. See our Warranty page for details.
INSTALLATION & IDEAS
What is the weight limit for a Milwaukee Packout mounting plate?
Load ratings depend on the plate size and metal thickness. For example, our 10-gauge full-width plate is rated for 150 lb on a wall and 300 lb on a floor, and our 10-gauge half-width plate for 75 lb on a wall and 150 lb on a floor. Each product page lists the exact ratings. Our ratings come from our own controlled testing and assume appropriate hardware installed into a suitable structure.
Are steel Packout mounts stronger than the plastic OEM plates?
Yes. Our heavy-duty 10-gauge mounts are built to carry far more than plastic plates. By using steel, we eliminate the risk of mounting holes “egging out” or snapping, making them the ideal choice for securing heavy gear in off-road vehicles or work vans.
Can I use BOCO Custom plates to mount different brands like DEWALT and Milwaukee in the same workspace?
Yes. We are one of the few fabricators offering dedicated steel mounting plates for Milwaukee Packout, DEWALT ToughSystem 2.0, Klein MODbox (1.0 & 2.0), and Husky Build-Out. Our standardized mounting hole patterns allow you to create a seamless, unified organization system on your shop wall or vehicle regardless of which tool brand you use.
Do you offer mounting solutions for both Klein MODbox 1.0 and the new 2.0 system?
Absolutely. We have engineered our Klein MODbox mounts to be fully compatible with the specific latching geometry of both generations. Our laser-cut steel design provides a much lower profile than the factory plastic mounts, saving you valuable depth in tight van aisles or mobile workstations.
Is the Husky Build-Out system strong enough for truck bed mounting?
The Husky system is excellent, but its factory mounting options are limited. Our Husky Build-Out Heavy-Duty Steel Plates bridge that gap. By using our steel instead of plastic, you can securely mount your Husky boxes in high-impact environments like open truck beds or off-road trailers where tool security is a priority.
How do BOCO Custom plates improve the DEWALT ToughSystem 2.0 mounting experience?
Many users find the factory DEWALT ToughSystem wall racks bulky. Our low-profile steel mounting plates allow for a “flush-to-wall” installation. Because we use 10-gauge mild steel (about 0.135 inch thick), our mounts eliminate the “bounce” and flex often associated with the ToughSystem’s vertical racking, especially when loaded with heavy 20V power tools.
Do you offer mounting solutions for custom shop builds or welding projects?
Yes. For fabricators, we offer Weld-On Steel Mounts in raw/uncoated finishes. Whether you are building a custom UTV rack or a mobile welding cart, our plates provide the precise geometry needed for Milwaukee, DEWALT, Klein, or Husky boxes, allowing you to weld a professional-grade locking interface directly into your project.
Verify hole alignment before drilling
- Confirm whether your mount is made to order with custom holes or a plate with universal holes.
- For custom-hole mounts, compare the hole locations and center-to-center spacing with your agreed dimensions or product diagram.
- Before drilling, check your marked locations or drilling template against the actual mount.
- Dry-fit the mount and your intended box before fastening. Confirm the box model and generation against the product’s compatibility details.
